I wish to acknowledge the First Australians and traditional custodians of this land, the Aboriginal people. I recognise and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land, which continue to be important to the Aboriginal people living today. I recognise the strength, resilience and capacity of the Aboriginal people in this land. I am humbled to be fortunate enough to experience their land and I pay my respects to Elders, past and present.
